Award-winning author Katharine Holabird was our featured reader for The Church’s Children’s Spooky Story Hour. Author of the widely popular children’s book series Angelina Ballerina, Holabird read Angelina’s Halloween. As Katharine read, a trained ballerina from the Hamptons Ballet Theatre School performed a dance choreographed to the book’s storyline.

The live performance aspect of the reading was not only a whimsical addition but more importantly made this event appropriate for children of all reading levels, languages, learning abilities and those who may be hard of hearing.
