Kristen Santori

Kristen graduated from SUNY Old Westbury with a BA in English Literature with an emphasis on multicultural literature. Her senior thesis focused on how poetry could be used as a medium for social and spiritual change, with specific focus on the form, structure, and mechanics found in the poetry, as explored through the poetry of Robert Hayden. This fascination with the mechanics of a medium and how its dexterous use can heighten artistic expression and expand the reader’s consciousness has since broadened to include all the arts. Since graduating, Kristen has had the opportunity to encounter diverse working environments, accumulating over a decade of Management and Administration experience in retail, corporate retail, customer service, hospitality, and the arts. A creative kid who grew up immersed in the arts, Kirsten continues to explore her creative skills through writing, songwriting, and various visual art practices. After travelling the country and exploring various states, Kristen returned home to the East End in the Spring of 2022 and joined The Church team in September of 2022.  She has held the position of Programming and Communications Manager since March 2024.
