Madeline Maxfield

Madeline Maxfield is an Australian native who spent her childhood traveling with her parents. Her mother, who was born in India, also traveled extensively throughout her own childhood. She instilled in Madeline a love of learning about other cultures and curiosity about cultivating community, how art brings people together, and storytelling. These interests led her to work at The Church. She is an aspiring writer and has taken classes in creative writing and cultural anthropology, sub-focusing on humanity’s evolution of spirituality and the birth of art in the Upper Paleolithic period.
