Join esteemed yogi Camille Petrillo to free the body, nurture the mind, and access the energy that both grounds and lifts us. Offering a unique Vinyasa flow, blending traditional Hatha yoga postures, Kundalini exercises, and Pranayama techniques, Petrillo has designed an exploration into conscious movement motivated by the rise and fall of the breath.

Open to all levels; however, knowledge of basic Hatha yoga postures is required. Please bring your own yoga mat, water bottle, and wear comfortable clothing.

This wellness Monday will focus on the moment-to-moment presence of transitioning between poses while honoring the chakra centers in our motion. Petrillo aims to inspire a safe, creative, individualized, and lighthearted practice within a foundation of proper alignment.

ABOUT CAMILLE PETRILLO

Camille Petrillo has been practicing yoga since she was 10 years old. She has taught for 37 years. Though retired from public classes and workshops, she teaches privately and coaches friends to maintain proper alignment and stay present during their practices.

Camille developed a unique vinyasa series she taught to teachers and students across the United States and in the U.K. She was a founding partner of a Yoga Zone studio in East Hampton; she created an annual Breast Cancer Research yoga charity; she organized large workshops with internationally renowned teachers; and she gave Thai Yoga Therapy sessions to individuals and couples. Known for her adamant yet lighthearted teaching style, Camile focuses on freeing movement and posture with continuous, moment-to-moment attention.

Camille holds advanced teaching certifications from masters of several schools of yoga. She trained in Iyengar, Ashtanga, Kundalini, Sivananda, Thai Yoga, and at the Yoga College of India. She is profoundly grateful to her teachers—Maxine Tobias, Shandor Remete, Erich Schiffmann, and Ana Forrest—for the clarity of their wisdom and guidance provided, on the complex and transcendent practice of yoga.
